X-Rays
This page doesn't have a lot to do with photography, but it seems the
most appropriate spot to put a few scans of my right leg that was badly
broken many years ago. Of most interest is the pin that is in it
and can be easily seen in the x-rays. The large, spiral fractures
can also be seen clearly in both bones.
It took several hours at
Manly
Hospital for the operation which was very much a success.
Following the operation I spent about 4 months on crutches (there was
never a cast on the leg) and then 2 months of physiotherapy basically
learning to walk again with that leg.
The scans of the X-rays were done on an
EPSON Expression 1640XL scanner at 720 dpi for most and 1200dpi for
one of them.
